UX/UI DESIGN

EMPEROR QINSHIHUANG’S
MAUSOLEUM MUSEUM

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, commonly known as the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum, is renowned for its specialized relic display. The centerpiece of this museum is the collection of terra-cotta figures dating back over 2000 years. These figures symbolize the formidable garrison force that once safeguarded Emperor Qinshihuang's mausoleum.

My fascination with the terracotta army was ignited during a trip to Xi'an, prompting me to embark on a unique endeavor: the creation of an educational website for children dedicated to Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Museum, as part of my graduate project. Although my website wasn't selected to become the official site, the experience of engaging with both the audience and clients has profoundly enriched me as a Graphic Designer.

Wireframes I produced for the site.

In today's digital age, people predominantly purchase tickets and browse websites using their smartphones. With this in mind, I ensured that my design is optimized to accommodate various screen sizes, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.

BRANDING/ALBUM COVER

THE ONLINE RECORDING STUDIO

The Online Recording Studio is a leading UK-based music production company that offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with top-tier producers and seasoned session musicians to bring your musical vision to fruition. They provide a comprehensive package, partnering with acclaimed producers, professional session musicians, and highly skilled engineers.

For me, music and visual arts are deeply intertwined and symbiotic. Music serves as both an impetus and inspiration in my creative process, fueling my dreams and production, while its rhythm captivates me endlessly. Recently, I've undertaken a freelancing project that has proven to be the most valuable experience yet, challenging my perceptions of both mediums. Through this endeavor, I've learned how to articulate the rhythm of music through visual imagery, expanding my artistic horizons in profound ways.

Crafting a branding CD cover and visual guide requires creating an immediate connection that resonates with the essence of the artists' music. From the color palette and photography to the choice of typeface, each element must be meticulously chosen to seamlessly blend into a cohesive, visually captivating brand. The goal is to evoke a sense of strength and confidence while striking a chord with the musicians on a personal level.

LEAFLET DESIGN

THINK ACADEMY

Think Academy, a premier online education brand under the ownership of TAL Education Group (NYSE: TAL), is dedicated to empowering primary school children to excel in mathematics through our intuitive online learning platform.

In line with this mission, I have meticulously crafted a leaflet to promote the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) course and bolster brand awareness for Think Academy. Each element of the leaflet—from the carefully selected color palette, to the choice of photography, and the typeface—has been thoughtfully considered. Together, they culminate in a compelling representation of the brand, one that exudes strength, confidence, and professionalism, resonating deeply with both students and parents alike.

Image selection & Colour Palatte

In crafting imagery, authenticity is paramount. Unlike conventional stock photography, which often feels cliché and distant, I aim to capture genuine moments of warmth and connection between tutors and children. Each image is carefully selected to represent a diverse array of faces and interactions, ensuring that every piece resonates with its intended audience. Emphasis is placed on the factual accuracy of each photograph, ensuring that the depicted scenes reflect the genuine nature of the educational experience.
